From Arkansas to Oklahoma is not that big a hop says Denise Groce Davis, especially if you're traveling to a Wade show. And Nashville's not too far either.

Christie Moore from Raleigh, NC caught Wade's show at the Thresher's Reunion held at the Farm Park in Denton, NC.

Miss Charlotte and her daughter, Mary, with Wade at the Friends' Fest Breakfast. Miss Charlotte was one of four lucky winners of a door prize. For each recipient, Wade hand copied the lyrics of a song that he'd written. Miss Charlotte's choice was "Old Enough to Know Better."

Rita writes, "Claremore was the 8th time I'd seen Wade and I can't wait to see him again. I became a fan the first time I heard "I'm Still Dancing With You" and I will be a fan for life. There is no one I respect and admire more for their talents than Wade.

Grand Opening at the New Kickers in Oak Grove, Kentucky. Debbie and Pam from Ft. Campbell are having their first meet and greet ever with a country artist. Those smiles are looking good!

McCall's first visit to a writer's night was the Grand Opening of the new dowtown Nashville Puckett's.

Puckett's is known for top-notch music. It's a good setting, too, for Erin Young to get a pic with a favorite artist.

Bobby Kendall and his sister, Sarah, from Winchester, Indiana are long-time supporters of Wade and his music. There are a lot of good memories in that tee-shirt that he wore to the Columbus, Indiana show.

Long time fans, Keith and Gina Holland from Greenwood, Indiana, were glad to have Wade back in their neck of the woods at Buffalo Wild Wings, Columbus, IN. The breezy night didn't discourage the fans who came out for the show.

Two special people came along with Elaine Mitchell from Indianapolis. She and Wade are pictured here with her granddaughter, Ashleigh and boyfriend Jeremy.

Julia Bellinger traveled down from Detroit, Michigan, to attend the show in Columbus, Indiana. It was a beautiful night for getting together with friends and listening to a great artist.

Sisters, Judy Casey and Jacquie Gammons travelled from Bentonville, Arkansas to see Wade perform on back-to-back nights at Puckett's and Poe's.

MaryAnn Knorr  from Woodbridge, VA says, "This was my first time meeting Wade. I first saw Wade play at the Nashville Navy Show on 6/8/10. I have been a fan since the very beginning but never had a chance to see him before so the Nashville Navy Show was a great way to start our ( my daughter came with me) CMA fest week and the Friends' Fest was an excellent ending to my week and also the highlight of my trip to Nashville."

Sandy Cochrane-Thornberry, from Washington state, and Jerri Layman, formerly of Washington state and now of Tennessee, enjoy a moment with Wade on the patio at the Copper Kettle.

Elaine Mitchell and granddaughter, Kenzie M, traveled from Indianapolis to spend the week and enjoy all the music, especially Wade's. Wade's breakfast was one of the highlights of the trip. For Kenzie, we'll have to add that meeting Taylor Swift was a 'biggie' for her.

Long time friends, Lil Dominiak from Michigan and Dawn Medley from Brentwood, Tennessee enjoy being together for the Friends' Fest in Nashville.

Judith McGee was fortunate enough to catch Wade at the Alma Peforming Arts Center in Alma, Arkansas. He was the closing act for the Alma Spinach Festival.

Arkansas resident, Reba McDougal, was glad that Wade came to perform in Alma, Arkansas, her neck of the woods.

It was traveling night at Judge Beans on the Third Thursday of March. Wade is holding his namesake, Wade H from Hutto, Texas. Little Wade traveled with brother Anthony and Mom Sheri.

Mom Paige C brought daughter, Baylee C from Dallas, Texas. They were making a musical week-end of the trip - catching other artists on their way back home.

Stacey H and Denise R journed from Fayetteville, Arkansas. A top-notch 3 hour show kept their attention off the long drive back home. It was worth the miles.

Nancy H has moved from the Florida panhandle to Jasper, Alabama. She's taking advantage of being closer to Nashville to enjoy some of the finest country music in Nashville.

After the Bethel Acres Friend's day in Oklahoma, Angie H from Wyoming writes, "My daughter Hannah finally got to meet Wade and have her picture taken with him..he even signed her hat. She has been on cloud 9 ever since. First thing at preschool she told her teacher all about it. LOL. It was so well worth the 13 1/2 hr drive...already making plans to attend next year...!"

Jeanene Jones from Coleman, Texas recently did an "Oklahoma Trilogy" to see Wade at Bethel Acres, Pawhuska and Tecumseh. She writes, "The first time I saw him was in Lockhart, Texas in June of 1995. His kindness impressed me that night and that has not changed. I will continue to make as many of his shows as I possibly can - from now on!"

Stacey Miller of Seaman,Ohio ... "I've been going to Wade's concerts for about 11 years But this was my first in about 6 years ..It was a Great Treat ..It was worth the 5 hour Trip To the Lorain County Fair August 24."

Julia Bellinger from the Detroit area travelled to the Lorain County Fair in Wellington, Ohio. Since Randy Owen's fiddle player was delayed, Wade was asked to do an opening set - a real treat for all the Wade fans who were there.

Our 4 hour trip from Fayetteville/ Rogers, AR was well worth it! Wade is so sweet and he put on a performance that few could top.”

Jami Lynn Perusich with Wade in Pawhuska, Oklahoma says "it was a 3 hour drive there from our home in Wichita, and 3 hours back, but SO worth it... It was just a wonderful, wonderful show. And after the show, he took the time to speak with each and every fan, sign photos and pose for pics - he is such a beautiful, gracious entertainer."

Amy and Debbie (Nashville, Tennessee) enjoying a writer's night show, country style. Wade and Joey+Rory held forth from the bed of a hay wagon behind Marcy Jo's mealhouse down near Columbia, TN. The delightfully distinctive evening included a table loaded with enticing desserts.

A great way to celebrate a couple of birthdays! Dancy Huddleston (left) and Dawn Hayes (right) met up with Wade at Randy Owen's show in New Berlin, Illinois. Dancy flew in from Florida to celebrate her special day and Dawn from Iowa celebrated the birthday she'd had the week before. Nancy Van Tomme (center), good friend that she is, celebrated right along with them.

Another birthday - this time it belongs to Aubrey "The Judge" Bean. Christie and Ally (on the right) join in on the cheerful occasion.

Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley showroom was the scene of this year's Nashville Navy show. Cathleen Reed from Kansas was in town for the CMA Music Fest. Bet you can guess which one had been fishing all day. More about that on the News page.

Elaine Mitchell, an early, early member of Wade's fan club, was also at the Nashville Navy show. A trip to Nashville isn't complete for Elaine unless she gets a chance to see her favorite artist.

Pat Griggs sits with Wade in the VIP booth at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, a legendary nightspot in Nashville, TN. Tootsies is across the alley from the back door of the Ryman and was a favorite watering hole of Opry stars when the Opry was at the Ryman. Earlier in the year Pat told her bridge playing buddies that she'd like to see Tootsies some day. For a birthday surprise they whisked her away in a limousine to the famous spot. Wade sang "Happy Birthday" and "Old Enough to Know Better," and enjoyed the stories and jokes that Pat told. Happy 100th, Pat!! You're an inspiration.
