Jumping in on the season, the Judge opened his new Judgement Hall Stage adjacent to his BBQ place for the evening. The crowd warmed themselves inside with good times and great music. Wade's hits and the ones he covers so well - Merle, Waylon, Willie ... - were the strong features of the evening. Added extras - Keith Stegall, writer and producer, stepping to the stage to do his self-penned George Strait hit, "I Hate Everything," and Mark Collie performing "Even the Man in the Moon is Crying." Wade joined Mark on a rousing "I Don't Think Hank Done it This Way." Final number of the evening, defined as Haggard 101, was "Make-Up and Faded Blue Jeans."
