A beautiful Tennessee morning for the UNDY-5k Run/Walk to benefit the Colon Cancer Alliance. Temperature in the 70s for the 8:30 am start. Wade was there, participating in several segments of the event. His opening remarks told the story of his own cancer survival and encouraged the crowd to "Go Live Your Life." He started the race with an air horn. The competitors would be back within in an hour. During that time he visited with those who were there to encourage the runners and participated at the "Design Your Own Undies" tent.

Thanks to all, the members of the Wade Hayes Warriors running team and those who weren't participating in the race but placed a contribution on line, we exceeded our goals!

Once the runners were back, Wade took on the role of prize awarder. The prizes for the runners were alloted to several groups: adult, youth and survivor. Then the 21 colon cancer survivors among the 400 who registered for the event were called to the front and Wade placed the Survivor's Medal around each neck. And the temperature still hadn't reached 80 yet. A beautiful morning in every way.
